MOD. RING

 

RING optical screens have been studied to allow an exact and sure determination of velocity of sporting ammunitions in 50 ÷ 1000 m/sec velocity range.
RING can be used in indoor firing and, adopting some precautions, in field.
They are composed by two circular carrying structures, 500/600 mm diameter, containing infrared transmitters-receivers.
For each measuring plane, the sensitive area is a circle, coaxial with the frame, diameter 400/500 mm.
The projectile passage is detected from the light variation generated by the shadow projected by the bullet.
